It is time to make your old money fears and financial insecurities dance out of your psyche forever. Consider this your sign from the universe that this is your time to finally get down and dirty with all your money shame and transmute all of your stuck, fearful attitudes around money and scarcity into true abundance and easeful cash flow. Money is in the eye of the beholder. The more we excavate our deeply rooted subliminal fears and insecurities around money inherited from our childhood upbringing, our cultural programming, and intergenerational ancestral and familial patterns, the more powerful we can then become in claiming our own money narrative and taking control of our own money destiny. Rather than repeating old patterns that do not serve us, we can consciously choose how we desire to relate with in a money in a way that honors our priorities, our needs, our pleasure, our relationships, our communities, and the planet at large. More importantly, in releasing our scarcity consciousness, we can learn to lean into the inherently abundant nature of the universe and trust that we have the power to ride the ebb and flow of money with ease and grace no matter what external circumstances come our way, and tap into the true sense of abundance that is always within our souls. In this workshop, participants will engage in guided meditation, embodied intuitive exercises, writing prompts around money attitudes, and visualizations for releasing scarcity and calling in abundance. Participants will learn to name their own negative biases around money and in their place create a more holistic and empowered relationship to money that can call in abundance to themselves, their relationships and communities, and the world at large.
Yumi Sakugawa is a second-generation Japanese-Okinawan-American interdisciplinary artist, and the author of several published books including I THINK I AM IN FRIEND-LOVE WITH YOU, YOUR ILLUSTRATED GUIDE TO BECOMING ONE WITH THE UNIVERSE and THE LITTLE BOOK OF LIFE HACKS. She has also been published in Bitch, BuzzFeed, The Best American Non-Required Reading 2014, DUM DUM ZINE, and other publications, and exhibited multimedia works at the Japanese American National Museum and the Smithsonian Arts & Industries Building.
