Inspired by BBQ and rodeo, this lively dinner experience spotlights a simple land and sea menu cooked over a dried coconut husk-based fire. Served with an array of accompaniments, including small salads, vegetables from the farm, fermented items from the larder, plus grains and beans. As you enjoy our communal food experience, you will be joined by the horses of the land.
Day 5: Gratitude + Farewell

All guests will arrive at San José’s Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO) and will receive an exclusive greeting service that will facilitate travel directly to Hacienda AltaGracia (ALG) via a chartered plane.
Guests are met by a representative with Hacienda AltaGracia signage as they exit the plane at SJO. Guests are then taken to a private terminal to clear immigration and customs. Luggage is collected on their behalf and placed aboard the chartered plane. Guests are guided through the entire process, ensuring a quick and easy arrival to Hacienda AltaGracia.
Chartered planes are operated two times per day:
SJO to ALG | 9:00 AM & 2:30 PM
ALG to SJO | 10:00 AM & 3:30 PM
Please keep the chartered plane operation times in mind when booking flights to SJO
40 lb is the maximum weight for total luggage (documented bags, carry-on, and personal bags).
Flight times are subject to change or cancellation due to weather conditions. If a flight is canceled or re-routed due to inclement weather conditions or a delay in a guest's international arrival, Hacienda AltaGracia will assist the guest with alternative arrangements.
