In Buddhist cosmology, a hungry ghost refers to an energetic entity that is eternally tormented by its insatiable desires, never experiencing a moment of peace and contentment. As human beings, we all carry our own versions of hungry ghosts that speak to our own personal hell of feeling like we are never enough no matter what we do or how much we accomplish. Left unchecked, our inner hungry ghosts can create a perpetual spiritual hole which we desperately try to fill through a never-ending cycle of unhealthy relationships, addictions, constant busyness, mind numbing behaviors, unhealthy validation seeking, and more.

Feeding Your Hungry Ghosts: Meditation and Rituals For Honoring Your Unfulfilled Desires And Finding Inner Peace invites participants to consciously meet their inner hungry ghosts with compassion and patience through guided meditation, writing exercises, and ritual in order to begin understanding the true soul needs hiding beneath the chase for ephemeral worldly desires. Only then can we start nourishing ourselves back to our inherent state of divine wholeness to truly feel at home within ourselves.
