An alter ego (Latin for “other I”) refers to the alternative self, and is typically seen to be distinctly different from a person’s ‘normal’ or true personality. It is also often believed to be a shadow self, one that is unknown, unacceptable or undeserving for the ‘normal’ self, or conscious self. We all have alter egos within our depths. These alternative selves are powerful potentials that reveal where we can further develop or heal, though we often ignore the alter ego because we have been conditioned to think they are dangerous or disruptive.

Working with Spirit House Collective's August theme of working with our shadow selves, we will we will harness the dark, the dormant and the alter egos that lie within ourselves.

Join us for this remote workshop offering by shamanic practitioner and ritualist, Mimi Young of Ceremonie from Vancouver, Canada. We will explore what it means to be whole and free through shamanic shadow work. Via a guided shamanic journey, meet your alter ego, and discover how shadow is a portal for us to access new potentials, clarity and healing. Learn how to identify alter ego power at work in your life (hint - those triggers are deeply spiritual gifts), and how you can learn from, activate, and integrate them.
